Players are speculating Genshin Impact anime

Genshin Impact, miHoYo's open-world title was released back in September 2020 and throughout the long term, it has created a huge impact on players and figured out how to be quite possibly the most famous games out there.

Travelers are gradually dunking their toes into all that Teyvat has to bring to the table going from Mondstadt to Liyue to Inazuma, and the game has hooked up its players to collect as many anime-styled characters and weapons as possible.

Genshin has already bagged several rewards under its name in terms of its popularity and is currently available on different platforms including Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch version being in development, along with Genshin Impact iOS cloud gaming service being in rumor.

The game was likewise made accessible via NVIDIA GeForce NOW beta for a limited time. However, we have new rumors that other than the game, fans can also get to see Genshin Impact anime.

Let's get into the details of the same.

Genshin Impact Anime leak

The news that a Genshin Impact anime could possibly be in the pipeline has come from the promotional post shared by Crunchyroll on Twitter.

Today, on February 3rd, Crunchyroll shared a new Twitter post sharing the details regarding the Genshin Impact 2.5 Livestream along with attaching a link to their website.

Recently miHoY announced that the Genshin Impact 2.5 Livestream will be conducted on 4th February at 07:00 AM (UTC-5) and the Crunchyroll post went on to reveal that players will get to see the speculated online concert as well.

The post stated, "After the program, fans can stick around for an online concert. You can see the announcement—which features Aether, Raiden Shogun, and Yae Miko on the included image."

Connecting the dots, fans are assuming that a Genshin Impact anime adaptation could be in progress as Ayato, Raiden Shogun, Kazuha, and Aether have been mentioned in the post.

Moreover, Crunchyroll’s Twitter post about the Livestream was also retweeted by Zack Aguilar, the English VA of Aether.

The guesses are not being made in the air and they do hold some wait as Crunchyroll is a major American manga/anime distributor, and to get a promotion from them do hint at their collaboration with miHoYo.

What has given more air to this rumor is that recently leakers shared a new story cutscene having Ayato, Raiden Shogun, and Ayaka in the images, and soon after the images were posted, several fans pointed out that these screenshots were original and the art style was similar to the Honkai Impact 3rd’s “Cooking with Valkyries” short anime series.

So, it is highly likely that miHoYo is actually planning to surprise the fans during the Genshin Impact v2.5 Livestream and has already started the preparations for a Genshin Impact anime.

However, fans should keep in mind that a mere promotional post can't give assurance to Genshin Impact anime being in development as this is not the first time that Crunchyroll has promoted miHoYo's action RPG.

We have seen several past occasions where the American anime distributor has shared posts related to Genshin. Additionally, a wide range of content is covered under their sites which include Shows, Manga, News, Games, and more.

So it would be best to not have any high hopes for now as these are mere speculations and rumors that can turn out to be fans' imaginations. However, Genshin 2.5 Livestream is scheduled for tomorrow, so fans won't have to wait long.
