Genshin Impact, the massively popular action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo, is currently on update 2.6. However, players are looking forward to Genshin Impact 3.0 update and this version is going to bring with it Sumeru and Dendro characters or so is expected.

You may be in the know that Genshin Impact Dendro is an element that has no playable characters. But after two years of waiting, our forbearing leakers have finally leaked some reactions of Dendro.

The leaks suggest that Genshin Impact Dendro will only react with Electro, Hydro, and Pyro. We are hoping that reactions with Geo, Anemo, and Cyro will be released later. But at the moment, we only know about the Genshin Impact Dendro Intensified and Overgrown reactions.

Now adding to the past details, leakers have leaked some Genshin Impact Dendro gameplay testing footage that gives us a glimpse of the Genshin Impact Dendro reactions in action. Read on to find the details.

Genshin Impact Dendro reactions gameplay testing leak

Lumie, a great, trustworthy leaker, put Genshin Impact Intensified and Overgrown reaction to the test recently with Xingqiu and Raiden Shogun. These characters are great at doing Hydro and Electro respectively.

A hilichurl affected by Dendro was attacked by Raiden Shogun’s Elemental Skill to do constant Electro DMG by Lumie. This set off the Intensified reaction. It generated one Electro particle and also put up the Electro and Dendro DMG for 7s. But we didn’t get to see the energy upsurge or damage output.

Xingqiu’s Elemental Skill on the hilichurl was next in line. This made the Genshin Impact Overgrown reaction fire up. A seed dropped to the ground and it turned into a mushroom. For a placeholder to represent the mushroom, an Electro particle was used.

When they come in touch with Hydro, these mushrooms do AoE Dendro damage. Keep in mind that the fungi also affect the player, unfortunately. But whether this feature will still be in-game once the Genshin Impact Dendro Element goes live is unknown at the moment.

But it has to be admitted that even though we are disappointed with the fact that Genshin Dendro doesn’t react with the entire periodic table of the game, these reactions that we know about are unlike anything that we have seen in the game up until now. And if we would like to predict anything, it would be that Genshin Impact Dendro reactions are going to cause a major change in the way fights are fought.

A rather observant viewer noticed that the fauna in the game is seemingly able to apply the Genshin Impact Dendro element, so they can be used for reactions. So you can expect the explorations of the different regions to be much more lit up now.

Expectations from Genshin Impact Dendro

You might be able to relate to the fact the players around the globe have a lot of expectations for the Dendro characters. We want the meta to change because of it, with characters like Yaoyao and Baizhu being associated with the Genshin Impact Dendro element.

And it is really likely that this will happen as the combining of Dendro with Electro and Hydro will affect the battles in huge ways.

Now, it is known that the major sources of damage in this game come from the elements and elemental reactions. So it is pretty heartbreaking that Genshin Dendro won’t react with three of the seven elements. But it’s possible that Dendro could be an indirect buff for Electro and let Electro characters act as the main damage dealers in the team.

And even though Cryo and Dendro do not react, you can apply them to a single enemy simultaneously. So, if a target is affected by Dendro and Cryo and you apply Pyro to them, then you can set off Burning and Melt reactions at once.

Now, although Burning is a potent in-game Dendro reaction, you will not be able to get the most out of it as there is no way you can apply Dendro to enemies. The Genshin Pyro and Dendro combo will set your targets on fire and lower their HP quickly. It will also do damage over a period of time.

And that right there folks, is all that we know at the moment about the Genshin Impact Dendro element, its characters, its reactions, and all the rest of it. We can expect our doubts to clear up soon enough as official news is released. So stay tuned!
