Dataminers got the opportunity to learn more about Genshin Impact 3.0 through its ongoing private beta, which began on July 13. Fans have also learned about a tonne of new characters, weapons, enemies, events, and missions as a result of these 3.0 beta leaks.
However, as part of its drip marketing strategy, the publisher disclosed details on the characters Tighnari, Collei, and Dori before the Version 2.8 update went live. Other than these, a number of unannounced characters have also appeared online as new leaks indicate that Cyno, Nilou, and Candace are among the characters that will be included in Genshin Impact 3.1 update.
Although these new characters for Genshin Impact 3.1 have not yet been given any official information, leakers have surmised some of their probable gameplay characteristics. This article however will focus primarily on Candace/Kandake, one of the Genshin 3.1 characters.

Who is Candace or Kandake in Genshin Impact?
Similar to a few other rumored characters, Candace has not yet been mentioned in the game, making it difficult to reflect on the personality or function of the new character. However, Candace's existence was discovered in the in-game data files during the 2.8 beta.
Genshin Candace's physical attributes, vision, and gaming skills have been described in fresh leaks. However, apart from the textual leaks, we haven't yet seen her model or gameplay in photographs or videos, so proceed with caution.

Genshin Impact Candace Release Date
When it comes to "when is Candace coming out in Genshin Impact," miHoYo has decided to stay silent, but that hasn't stopped the Candace leaks from flooding in.
The Candace release date has been the subject of contradicting reports, but now reliable leakers like @hxg_diluc and SaveYourPrimos are revealing details regarding the Genshin Impact 3.1 character banners, which may be made available in the first few days of October.
And according to rumors, Cyno, Nilou, and Candace will be available with the Genshin 3.1 banner, with Cyno becoming visible to players in the first phase and the Nilou banner being made available in the second one.
Now, if we were to make an educated guess as to "when is Candace banner coming out," we might say October 5 or 26. This is predicated on the knowledge that the Genshin 3.1 update will launch on October 5th and that the Genshin 3.1 banner phase 2 will follow the cycle of 21 days.

Genshin Impact Candace Skills
Although the Genshin Candace kit's specifics haven't been made public yet, the most recent Genshin 3.1 leaks gave us a little glimpse of Candace's abilities.
According to sources, Candace is one of the new Genshin Impact 3.1 characters and it seems that Candace's Elemental Skill will have three charge levels. Additionally, a few components of Candace's kit have been described in leaks.
- Candace can generate a shield with her E.
- In data her E is similar to Diona, Beidou, Gorou and Sara. (It could mean nothing in the end, but the leaker decided to share it anyways)
- Candace can create a shield.
To learn more about Candace's skills, it would be best to hold off until the 3.1 beta because it is prone to change.

Now, even though the character model for Candace hasn't yet been revealed, there is still more material to discuss. For anyone curious to learn more about Candace, there are a few leaks worth mentioning here.

Genshin Impact Candace rarity, element, and weapon
According to the latest pertinent information from a reliable leaker, Kandake will be a 4-star unit that can be seen in Genshin Impact 3.1. In earlier leaks, Candace was also identified as a Hydro Polearm user who might be assigned to a team with Nilou.
Players would then have to wait until October 26 in order to summon this character as well because Nilou's banner is rumored to be released in the second half of the 3.1 update.
Other than this, her model wasn't included in the first batch of Sumeru characters that were leaked. However, for those players who are eagerly waiting to know more about Kandake, there is yet another leak mentioning her design.

Genshin Impact Candace Model
Genshin Candace's appearance in the main game wasn't really hinted at much by the leakers, and we don't really have any leaked models to compare to. We do, however, have text leaks.
Candace is the new name for the Hydro woman who was earlier identified as having a dark complexion in leaks. The following details about Candace's appearance have been publicly disclosed thanks to 3.1 leaks:
- Dark skin
- Has many gold accessories (like "an ankh as a collar pendant")
- Has several crescent moon motifs
- Has the tall female model
- Her stomach and legs are exposed
- Navy twin tails that reach her chest
- One eye is purple; the other eye is gold
- Egyptian/Cleopatra-inspired character
The community is much less familiar with Candace, but leaks about her design have shown that she will feature long, flowing garments with a starry pattern and heterochromia. Although her function in Sumeru is unknown, it's possible that she serves a similar duty to Mona's as an astrologer.

There is virtually less information currently available about Genshin Impact Candace as compared to the other two 3.1 characters, so players will have to wait for more leaks in order to discover more about her.
However, it would be ideal to take these Genshin Impact Candace leaks with a grain of salt until HoYoverse officially reveals any details as it is way too early to be sure of any info on the Genshin Impact 3.1 update.
