League of Legends Preseason 2023 - New Champions

Starting with the champion we previously knew about, Reav3 informed players that there will be three new LoL Champions in League of Legends Season 13. One of these has at least been discussed before, while the other two are brand-new.

The upcoming new LoL Champions are being addressed as K’Sante, the Pride of Nazumah, Darkin Assassin, and Ixtal Enchanter.

  • League of Legends K’Sante, the Pride of Nazumah

A champion from Shurima will soon be making his way to the top lane. Reav3 spoke on the Nazumah region of Shurima, where this champion is from, and used the term "tank" to describe the upcoming champion.

Reav3 claimed that the new LoL champion goes by the name of K'Sante and uses a unique weapon made from a monster that was killed, which will allegedly allow for several attacks.

K'Sante from Shurima, will be a tank top-laner. This is interesting because we have not received a tank top laner since 2020 and because he will be from Nazumah, a hitherto unexplored region of Shurima. K'Sante might be the first champion we see in season 13 if things continue as they are.

  • League of Legends Darkin Assassin

A new Darkin champion has also been announced by Reav3, in addition to this top-lane tank from Shurima. The devs confirmed that this one will be an assassin who will be kept inside some possessed daggers. Now, this is something that a lot of fans are very enthusiastic about. A new darkin champion will join Kayn and Aatrox in the game.

There has been no info on who currently owns those daggers, but Reav3 cryptically hinted that we might find out soon. The picture of a knife that is possessed is the only teaser we have seen so far that isn't related to those specifics.

  • League of Legends Ixtal Enchanter

Furthermore, there will soon be a new enchanter champion that fills two underutilized positions in League. For starters, it will be a male enchanter from the Ixtal region. Only Malphite, Neeko, Nidalee, Qiyana, Rengar, and Zyra are connected to the Ixtal area, which is equally underrepresented in League compared to other regions.

League Of Legends Preseason 2023 - Jungling Changes

Several adjustments that will be implemented in the approaching preseason of 2023 have been revealed by RiotPhroxzon. He said that, unlike the Durability upgrade, there wouldn't be a significant change in the middle of a season. Only during the preseason will there be this kind of update. In addition, he disclosed fresh changes and additions that will be made in the forthcoming Preseason 2023.

The dev team hinted at many gameplay tweaks in a fifteen-minute developer update video hosted by Ryan "Reave3" Mireles, but one of the more interesting topics was the changes affecting Junglers.

The developer said, "Overall, jungling will be less difficult and difficult only at the "proper areas." The objective is to emphasize accessibility and flexibility and make the job simpler for new players to understand, not to "dumb down" the function."

  • Changes to the Communication System

To start, Riot Games will roll out a new pinging system to improve communication. They want to increase the number of ways that junglers can communicate their skills through communication. There will be a number of pinging signals available, such as "Freeze" and other more usual notifications when playing.

  • Improvements For Jungle Camps

In order to make camps leash more akin to Wild Rift, Riot Games is now thinking of changing it. They want to include camp ranges and reset rules.

Newer Junglers will encounter a new recommended pathing system after pinging that works similarly to the things suggested while perusing the in-game shop. This change should make it easier for newbies to integrate with Jungling. These modifications might not be obvious to older junglers, but they will assist rookie players to pick up the role more quickly.

  • Changes to Jungle Items

The designers wish to make additional adjustments to the jungle stuff. Because in their opinion, the present jungle items aren't all that interesting or clear.

A new "pet" function for Junglers in League of Legends will assist players in clearing camps and completing various tasks. The pet system is now still in its testing stage and will appear very different when it is launched. However, it's rumored to be a game-changer because it transforms Jungling from clearing out camps for their belongings to caring for a pet and concentrating on activities other than gold farming.

  • Jungle Clear Modifications

Currently, in League of Legends, a character needs to have a very quick or optimized clear in order to be viable in the jungle. Because they can't keep up, slower champions seldom get chosen or used in the current jungle meta.

Players are reluctant to master the position effectively because learning how to optimize for jungle clears is a significant barrier to entry. So they want to address that problem in order to remove that entry barrier.

Riot also disclosed that Chemtech Drake will return.

League Of Legends Preseason 2023 - Chemtech Drake

In League of Legends 2023 preseason, Chemtech Drake will return with a number of modifications. Similar to Sion's passive, her soul no longer has the power to bring you back to life. Instead, the new Chemtech soul will improve your damage and provide you with damage reduction when your health is low.

Additionally, the plants will become stronger while the Chemtech drake controls the rift. For instance, the blast cone will allow you to travel farther than ever before, and Scryer's Bloom will allow you to move more quickly toward adversaries that have been exposed.

League Of Legends Preseason 2023 - Ahri ASU and Aurelion Sol CGU

Riot also hinted at significant adjustments coming to Ahri ASU and Aurelion Sol CGU in the forthcoming Preseason 2023 update.

  • LoL Aurelion Sol CGU

Aurelion Sol has been the test subject for Riot's new CGU, or Comprehensive Gameplay Update, experiment. The objective of CGU is to reinvent a champion's kit to a new standard rather than updating a champion's appearance or already established backstory. Some of Aurelion Sol's new skills were made public.

The first change is that his new Q now exhales fire for however long he has mana to do so. He can fly with the touch of a button thanks to his new W. Not only that, but he can simultaneously use his W and Q.

  • LoL Ahri ASU

The Ahri ASU was one of this season's most eagerly awaited improvements. Caitlyn's ASU established a new kind of update known as an ASU, or Art and Sustainability Update. To stay up with this constantly changing game, ASU updates essentially change the champion's appearance, model, VFX, and voice-over without changing any of the abilities.

The devs hinted that the Ahri ASU might appear in season 12 in the Preseason 2022 video. However, it won't be arriving this season because Ahri needs so many skins to be upgraded. However, the base skin is almost finished. Additionally, RiotReav3 verified that Ahri ASU would be released early in 2023.

League Of Legends Preseason 2023 - New Gothic Skin or Fright Night

We chose the Gothic skin update earlier this year. And Riot, at last, made it known. The redesigned Gothic skin is known as Fright Night. The developers even discussed a concept and the following are the champions getting LoL Fright Night skins:

  • Fright Night Annie
  • Fright Night Trundle
  • Fright Night Urgot
  • Fright Night Renata Glasc
  • Fright Night Draven

Well, that is all that is there to know about the changes coming with League Of Legends Preseason 2023 or League Of Legends Season 13, including new Champions, Jungling Changes, Chemtech Drake, Ahri ASU, Aurelion Sol CGU, and Gothic Skin or Fright Night skins.
