League of Legends 12.18 patch notes

League of Legends is a multiplayer online game, but it isn't an MMO in the sense that it focuses on gameplay rather than an open world to explore. The title is a MOBA that can be challenging to get into for newbies, especially since it has been on the market for a long time, but it does not require a strong PC to play.

We recently received a significant LoL patch 12.17 update which included various changes in the main game, including major buffs and nerfs for several champions, as well as interesting gameplay adjustments.

Now while Riot continues to tinker with all of the major changes in LoL patch 12.18, the live game is indeed moving forward. After dealing with more than 10 champions in the previous update, the developer is now focusing on adjusting a few of the outliers.

Riot is concentrating on champions like Maokai, Udyr, Hecarim, and others in patch 12.18. Moreover, the main focus of the LoL patch 12.18 is to bring the final set of changes for World's 2022.

So let's get to know what has been detailed so far with regards to the League of Legends 12.18 patch, including changes, champions buffs and nerfs, new releases, and more.

League of Legends 12.18 patch notes

League of Legends Designers on the Summoner's Rift team, detailed the upcoming LoL patch 12.18 changes on September 15th.

A few champions will be nerfed as usual, while League of Legends Patch 12.18 will also enhance the abilities of a few champions.

Phroxzon stated regarding the LoL 12.18 patch, "Most champions are only receiving small nudges, especially if we suspect recent changes have overshot. We've made a significant number of changes since the playoff patches, so we don't want to completely upend the meta."

Ashe, Thresh, Lee Sin, and others are among the champions that will be buffed as part of the 12.18 update, and Miss Fortune, Kalista, Hecarim, and others will be receiving nerfs. Moreover, Maokai and Udyr are the champions that will receive changes to their kits with the LoL 12.18 patch.
