According to the official statement, Genshin Impact Version 3.3 is set to go under maintenance on December 7, 2022", implying the Genshin 3.4 upgrade will be available five weeks after the release of Version 3.5, possibly on January 18th, 2023.

Usually, any Genshin Event Wishes used to last for 21 days, but now HoYoverse is making some changes to the pattern, hence the future 3.4 Event Wishes must have the release dates listed below:

  • Genshin Impact 3.4 Phase 1 will begin on January 18, 2023.
  • Genshin Impact 3.4 Phase 2 will begin on February 8 or 9, 2023 (depending on the first banner).

However, it remains to be seen who will actually appear on the Genshin 3.4 banners.

Genshin Impact 3.4 Characters leak

Each previous Genshin Impact update featured one or two new characters and two or three banner re-runs. And recent Genshin 3.4 leaks claims that Alhaitham and Yaoyao will be the new character in the future patch.

It's probable that many of you were already aware that Yaoyao would appear in the Genshin 3.4 update, but Uncle Lu just confirmed this information, saying that "both Alhaitham and Yaoyao are in version 3.4"

Recent Genshin 3.4 leaks have shown that the character known as Yaoyao is a 4-star Dendro character and has a female child body type. When it comes to Genshin Yaoyao's weapon, it's been speculated that she will most likely wield a polearm.

Although the actual skills of Genshin Yaoyao are yet to be revealed, there have been a few leaks indicating that she could be a Dendro character and a Support for Alhaitham.

The character we are about to describe might not require an introduction, but Al-haitham is a 5-star Dendro character that is slated to make his debut in the 3.4 update, according to sources. HoYoverse has already showcased Alhaitham in the previous Sumeru preview teaser, implying he could likely be in version 3.4 as a playable.

Additionally, it has been revealed that Alhaitham is a figure who uses a Sword and will probably use the Dendro element in gameplay.
