On May 1, LoL Patch 14.9 was made available as Riot has been attempting to alter the meta quite a bit, and Patch 14.10 appears to be yet another revolutionary release. LoL 14.10 patch notes are still being withheld because the LoL 14.9 patch was just published, bringing with it a number of intriguing and new improvements. Yet, a wealth of impending changes to runes and items have sparked controversy in the community due to the most recent League of Legends PBE datamine. ADC players were reportedly the least happy with the 2024 item changes, according to Riot's internal surveys, hence, Riot intends to improve ADC items in the LoL 14.10 patch, especially in terms of how they handle power spikes.

Riot Games also intends to make significant improvements to Corki's abilities in Patch 14.10, which will let him return to the bot lane.

  • Q – Phosphorus Bomb:

  • W – Valkyrie:
    • Tick Damage Timer: 0.25 second ⇒ 0.5 seconds.

    • Mana Cost: 80 ⇒ 80/85/90/95/100.
    • Deals Damage ticks more consistently.
    • DoT lasts 1 second after leaving the zone.
    • Can no longer deal more than the maximum damage if a target runs alongside the damaging zone.

    • Cooldown: 16 seconds ⇒ 12 seconds.
    • Mana Cost: 50 ⇒ 50/55/60/65/70.
    • Damage Type: 50% Split Between Magic and Physical Damage ⇒ 100% Physical Damage.

  • Since players can now invest gold into stat anvils, there is no incentive to buy hats so you will receive one after eliminating a team or winning a high-stakes round.

Blade of the Ruined King

  • AD: 55
  • AS: 30%
  • Lifesteal: 10%
  • Health damage reduced for ranged champions to 6%
  • Slow is no longer decreased for ranged
  • Attacking a champion three times slows for 30% for 1 second

Bloodthirster

  • Cloak replaced by Pickaxe
  • Crit chance removed

  • Now converts excess life steal into a 50 – 400 shield for 2 seconds instead of AD above 70% max HP

Relentless Hunter

  • No longer grants 5 move speed at 0 stacks

Sudden Impact

  • Cooldown: 4 seconds ⇒ 10 seconds
  • Now deals 20 – 80 bonus true damage with 5 seconds after dashing or leaving stealth instead of hybrid pen

Time Warp Tonic

  • No longer works on biscuits, mana items, or grants 2% move speed
  • Immediate consumption: 30% ⇒ 40%

LoL Patch 14.10 Skins

In the skin department, the LoL 14.10 patch reintroduces the Faerie Court skin line from 2023, with four new skins joining the lineup, following previous hits like Karma and Fiora. This time we will be getting the following champions:

LoL Patch 14.10 Release Date

As for the release date, according to League of Legends' official patch schedule, LoL Patch 14.10 is slated to go live on active servers on May 15, 2024. The rollout will commence at 10 AM AEST on Oceanic servers, followed by gradual availability in other regions throughout the day. The main release windows for each region are:

  • 3 AM PT (NA)
  • 5 AM BST (EUW)
  • 3 AM CEST (EUNE)
  • 8 AM KST (Korea)

It's difficult to predict with certainty what will happen because there are so many changes planned. All classes and the Tanks will be impacted after ADC, depending on how many changes there are, however, champion nerfs and buffs are still pending.

Overall, despite the uncertainty, the community appears to be receptive to these changes, expressing appreciation for their removal from timed gates. And that's the latest on the LoL 14.10 patch for now, but expect more updates from the developers soon.
