Additionally, a popular game analyst, Daniel Ahmad has revealed that the announcement about the game will be made next week.

Other than this recent leak, another leak was getting popular around the web, where dataminer found some critical data in EpicData, an area that permits players to burrow through the substance of the Epic Games Store servers.

Back in June 2021, players tracked down the game names showing up under the hidden customAttributes folder in the CloudSaveFolder value string.

Alan Wake Remastered was code-named "HeronDtaging" and was found in different parts of the list and what's intriguing is that other than a usual survey right back in 2015, the game has not been mentioned anywhere.

Also, the game's developer is recorded as Remedy under the CloudSaveFolder, so many think that Remedy has been working on this project for a long while. Nonetheless, with the achievement of Control, the new Alan Wake-themed DLC isn't an over-the-top leap for the devs to give a new game to the players to enjoy the 11-year-old game once again.
