Apex Legends Mobile Release date

The Apex Legends Mobile release date for the global launch is 17 May 2022, as confirmed by Respawn Entertainment at a press event. Though you can pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile now, that won’t necessarily guarantee you a spot as access to the title is limited.

Respawn, in an FAQ post for the game on February 24, said that there will be a limited regional launch in 10 countries, on. This will be both on iOS and Android. It has been expanded now.

Here are the names of those countries the game is still not available in: Macau, Russia, Hong Kong, Belarus, China, and Taiwan.

Apex Legends Mobile Pre-registering

Based on which platform you use, you can pre-register for this game on the iOS App Store or Google Play store. It was thought that Android was the only platform the game was going to release on, but we now know that it’s also coming to iOS.

These are Respawn’s words: Head to the Google Play Store and iOS App Store to sign up so you can jump in, play as your favorite Legend, and share your feedback with the team.

Over 7.5 million have pre-registered, as of March 17.

Apex Legends Mobile Development details

“We’ve built a dedicated team here at Respawn filled with experts in mobile game development to lead the creation of Apex Legends Mobile,” Chad Grenier said, the Apex game director. “But it’s a collaborative effort with our established Apex Legends team and other partners.”

Respawn is taking the hands-on approach here. Tencent is also involved in the development, says an IGI India report. This Chinese company has loads of experience in this area as it also ported CoD to mobile devices.

Apex Legends Mobile is free-to-play, but cosmetic items will be costly, though Respawn gives us their assurance that these won’t grant players any gameplay advantages. This game also has its own Battle Passes with unlockable items and collectible cosmetics.
