League of Legends 14.5 Patch Notes

LoL Patch 14.4 marked a significant update, and now, as we look forward to Patch 14.5, Riot Phroxzon's latest preview has unveiled numerous changes for Season 14. This upcoming League of Legends 14.5 Patch includes a variety of champion buffs, nerfs, and adjustments, along with modifications to items and other in-game systems. And here we will discuss it all in detail.

Overview of League of Legends 14.5 Patch

Although details regarding the upcoming League of Legends 14.5 Patch are still few, we do know of some changes that have already been made. These include changes for champions like Rek'Sai and Galio as well as some significant improvements for Seraphine.

Furthermore, the card-wielding mage has so far in Season 14 been practically uncontrollable, appearing and ruling in three different roles: AD carry, top lane, and mid lane. The League developers are therefore increasing the stakes, cutting his Wild Cards' attack damage scaling and punishing his Stacked Deck for both its attack speed and attack damage—all aimed at thwarting the AD build that Twisted Fate has been leaning toward lately.

Also, only a few new skins are being added to the marketplace with this update; this time, Gangplank, Jax, and Naafiri are the fortunate three. With their futuristic styling, all three are joining the long-running PROJECT series.

After a few years, the PROJECT skinline is back, and this time we're getting three brand-new skins although we have just a tiny filler patch in the form of LoL 14.5 Patch.

According to the legend behind the skin line, Gangplank is a member of the Command Line, an alternate-universe counter-espionage group, and Jax is an Outcast. Meanwhile, The Hound of a Hundred Bites—her programming infects enemies—becomes just the second champion to have a design in the legendary cosmetic collection with a virus theme.

The Patch 14.5 cycle is when the LoL Project 2024 skins will go online and here are all the PROJECT 2024 skins coming in this patch:

  • PROJECT Gangplank (1,350 RP)
  • PROJECT Jax (1,350 RP)

League of Legends 14.5 Patch Release Date

Riot has announced that on Wednesday, March 6, League of Legends 14.5 Patch will be live on servers. We'll start getting the usual programming with this update, as the last patch release for February was released a day behind schedule due to the developers' President's Day vacation.

The important times of the LoL 14.5 Patch release are as follows:

  • 3pm CT (NA)
  • 5am GMT (EU West)
  • 3am CET (EU North East)
  • 8am KR (Korea)

When maintenance for the patch starts, players should expect several hours of server outage, and three hours prior to the upgrade going live, matchmaking will be turned off for all League queues.

Remember that until they are uploaded to play servers, all of these modifications are provisional, even though they should pass League PBE testing. Any modifications, nerfs, or boosts that are listed could be removed at any time.
