Epic has revealed details on Fortnite Coachella 2024 event dates, skins, cosmetics, emotes, tracks, instruments, and a lot more.

Epic Games is right on track with its updates for Fortnite. Recently the game announced a collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender, and from next Tuesday, will be able to experience a virtual version of Coachella, the well-known music festival, right in the game. The Fortnite Coachella 2024 event brings along a plethora of new skins, cosmetics, emotes, music tracks, and more, and we're here to break it all down for you.
Fortnite Coachella 2024 Event
Since the game's last Coachella event in the spring, Fortnite has undergone significant modification. These days, Fortnite functions more like a platform where players can access and play a large selection of games on top of the well-known battle royale shooter that forms its core.
The Fortnite team announced that a crossover with Coachella will be making a comeback to the game this year in a brand-new official blog post. The true Fortnite Coachella 2024 event takes place from April 12 to April 21, having Doja Cat and Sabrina Carpenter as two of the performers, who will also receive themed emotes.
Le Grande Wheel and the Spectra Tower will also be part of the new Coachella 204 event for the Fortnite Festival's Jam Stage. In addition, Horizon and Cosma Outfits will be accessible beginning on April 11 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time along with the Coachella Pulse Pickaxe, the Soft Synth Wrap, and the Interstellar Butterfly Back Bling.
Fortnite Coachella 2024 Skins, Cosmetics, and Emotes
As for Fortnite Coachella 2024 skins, the Fortnite Shop will introduce two new outfits inspired by Coachella's famous astronauts: Horizon and Cosma. Together with the Coachella Pulse Pickaxe, Soft Synth Wrap, and Interstellar Butterfly Back Bling, these Fortnite Coachella 2024 skins will go live on April 11 at 8 PM ET.
These items are responsive to music, giving your Fortnite experience even more involvement. The Horizon and Cosma outfits also include a LEGO Style, which will delight lovers of LEGO Fortnite—though these styles do not react to music.
Apart from Fortnite Coachella 2024 skins, J Balvin makes a scorching comeback to Fortnite as well. The Inferno Skeleton Balvin Outfit will be at the Item Shop from April 18 at 8 PM ET on the second weekend of Coachella until April 22 in celebration of his upcoming Coachella concert.
Along with Fortnite J Balvin skin, players will also get the Zappy-Go-Backy Back Bling and Mi Gente Jam Track in the Inferno Skeleton Balvin Bundle, however, players can purchase the Outfit (and Back Bling) individually or opt for the complete Bundle, which also includes the Mi Gente Jam Track. Additionally, Inferno Skeleton Balvin also features a LEGO Style.
Adding to the skin and cosmetics, there will be two emotes available from April 11 at 8 PM ET that are based on Coachella 2024 artists:
- The Rebellious Emote - Doja Cat's "Paint The Town Red"
- The Sonic Surfer Emote - Sabrina Carpenter's "Feather"
Fortnite Coachella 2024 Stage and Instruments
With recognizable features like the Spectra Tower and Le Grande Wheel, the Fortnite Festival's Jam Stage has been transformed in a Coachella-inspired fashion. Players can create original mixes with friends while immersing themselves in the festival atmosphere with this new backdrop, which will be accessible until the v29.30 release.
As for the Fortnite Coachella 2024 instruments, from April 11 to April 20, the Shop will be selling the Mirage Glimmer Guitar and Festival Keys Keytar to go with the Horizon and Cosma skins. You can utilize these instruments in Battle Royale with your team or on the Main Stage of the Festival.
Fortnite Coachella 2024 Tracks
Described in a statement as “a new music and minigame experience,” Sahara Island is a virtual location inspired by the actual Coachella festival. It features audio and visuals from Coachella 2024 performers, such as Grimes and DJ Snake.
Moreover, the Jam Tracks from performers at Coachella 2024 will be rotated on the Festival's Main Stage from April 11 at 8 PM ET to April 18. Players will be able to enjoy these songs in different settings with friends by purchasing them from the Shop.
