CS2 Spring 2025 Update: New Weapon Collections
Valve just rolled out the CS2 Spring 2025 update and they added three brand-new weapon collections—Ascent, Boreal, and Radiant.
That means there are now over 70 fresh skins to collect. You can only get them through the Weekly Care Package drops, not from cases or your Armory.
CS2 Ascent Collection
Released on March 31, 2025, during CS2's Spring Forward update, the Ascent Collection brings 28 uniquely vibrant weapon skins. The collection features bold purple, blue, and gold designs that make each piece stand out.
Highlights include the M4A1-S Stratosphere (Classified), along with the AK-47 Midnight Laminate and USP-S Royal Guard (both Restricted).
These skins aren’t tied to cases; instead, they are earned through weekly XP drops, allowing players to upgrade their loadouts with no extra cost.
CS2 Boreal Collection
CS2 Spring 2025 update also introduced the Boreal Collection, which includes 29 skins inspired by nature. These designs showcase earthy tones like green and brown, giving them a grounded and realistic look.
Among the most talked-about items are the AWP | Green Energy and the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning.
Access to these exclusive CS2 skins is limited to weekly care package drops, encouraging consistent participation from players seeking to add them to their collection.
CS2 Radiant Collection
