| Animal Crossing Series 5 Amiibo cards can possibly bring new villagers |
Animal Crossing New Horizons is one of Nintendo's best-launched titles in a long time, and now a new update to the game is coming soon in the month of November as seasonal updates are a typical practice inside the game.
Moreover, other than the season update fans will get to see one of their favorite Animal Crossing character, Brewster in the game too. The new teaser for a dedicated Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct in October revealed a few more details, including the museum location of Brewster’s café, and The Roost.
However, there are a couple of more things that are coming to the Animal Crossing New Horizons Roost update and one of them is Animal Crossing Series 5 Amiibo cards, implying new villagers are also coming.

Animal Crossing Series 5 Amiibo cards
Currently, players have seen four series of Animal Crossing Amiibo cards, and a considerable amount of these cards allows players to control which villagers go to their island to stay.

In any case, it has recently been revealed that there are more than 100 unassigned Amiibo cards in the update files which will be coming in the future. But if that's true then numbers don't exactly add up, as there aren't 100 villagers without Amiibo cards in Animal Crossing including all the four series of Amiibo cards.
Amiibo cards can fill different needs, however, that is still an excessive number of unassigned cards, so for the leak to be true, the developers will need to add more villagers, who will then have these Amiibo cards in the end.
Currently, these are all assumptions as we already have around 400 villagers in Animal Crossing, yet it's always better to have significantly more and to get more cards. For those who are continually searching for new increments to the game, the addition of new Animal Crossing villagers would definitely be great news.

And like every other leak thus far, these should be thought of while taking other factors into consideration until Nintendo officially reveals any data about it as these are simply hypotheses for now.
