Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted

Destiny 2 has had a really successful career till now. This free-to-play online-only multiplayer (first-person shooter) title was developed by Bungie to provide gamers with the fun of a classic shooting game.

The latest expansion for Destiny 2, Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted, is now out which will bring in a surge of new and untried video game content for players to play and experience. There’ll be a new Season Pass that’ll need to be completed, new exotics, etc.

In addition to new loot to collect and nightmares to battle, the Destiny 2 gameplay sandbox has undergone significant adjustments. Lord Saladin's Iron Banner vendor station has been entirely overhauled, with new tasks, daily rewards, and a new triumph and seal to chase.

Season of the Haunted also includes a redesign of another Light element, this time Solar 3.0 abilities and subclasses, following The Witch Queen's Void 3.0 update. Claus and his Leviathan Ship are back in the plot, this time lingering over the Moon, hoping to uncover the secrets of the buried pyramid ship there.

Here is all that we know about the Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted - Story and character

The theme this season looks to be Emperor Calus and his huge Leviathan ship.

Here are Bungie’s words themselves:

“Power, depravity, vengeance. The object of Calus’s desire has taken many shapes over the years. His once-opulent ship, now derelict and corrupted, has returned to our galaxy—its sights set on the Pyramid ship lying dormant on the Moon.

“As the Leviathan forms a connection with the Pyramid, Nightmares of the past awaken and threaten to torment any who dare intervene. Stare into the abyss and find bravery within the mantle of the reaper and the steel of the scythe.”
