Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Screenshots leak

The said leaks about Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile reveal to us many screenshots of the game. Or so they appear to be so.

These Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile screenshots were posted on Twitter by an account named CoD_Perseus. Now, this Twitter user has a history of tweeting pre-release content about Call of Duty video games. So this source is not just any source, so to speak.

Now coming to the leak about the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile screenshots, these images give us a visual of the beginning of a match as the players are jumping off a plane. They also give us a visual of the gulag, which happens to be an area where players are sent to when they have been eliminated in a bout for the first time.

Talking about the remaining two screenshots of the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the leak seems to be displaying some areas that belong on the original Verdansk map.

Adding to this, the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile screenshots that were posted by CoD_Perseus on social media have at the time of writing this post been taken down. The reason was stated to be “a report from the copyright holder.” Still, for the sake of completeness, we are posting that tweet below.

In fact, if we were to look at this tweet from the perspective of the developers, this taking down of the tweet actually testifies to the accuracy of the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile content of the leak.

What do we know so far about the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile game?

It was announced by Activision in March that a Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile game was in the pipeline. Regarding this, a job listing on the official website said that they were “creating an all-new, AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid, and the large-scale action of Call of Duty: Warzone to players on the go.”

If we have our Call of Duty history correct, Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play video game that was released in March 2020, and within the span of a year, it had gotten 100 million players, as was claimed by Activision itself.

Currently, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is in closed alpha testing, following some invites that were sent to some chosen players by the publishers.

“Our mission with Project Aurora, the codename for our new mobile title, is to bring friends, families, and people around the world together in a global community of diverse players with a fast-paced, precise, and high-quality battle royale action experience that delivers a fresh new way to play,” is the statement issued by Activision about their next mobile title, which apparently is Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Continuing this statement, Activision went on to say, “The closed alpha is limited in size, and with it, we are looking to simply start to improve tuning, stress test matches, identify and fix bugs, as well as collect feedback and insights on all aspects of the game as new features come online.”

The plan of the developers is to open the CoD Warzone mobile testing further as the development of the title progresses. If you follow Activision news, then you’d know that it was last August when they announced the formation of Solid State, an internal mobile game development studio.

This studio was put together for the purpose of developing this new addition to the Call of Duty franchise.

And that exhausts all the information we had at our hands about Call of Duty Warzone Mobile.
