Honkai Star Rail Boothill - abilities, traces, eidolons, VAs, and leaks

HoYoverse has begun revealing the Drip Marketing campaign for the upcoming characters in Honkai Star Rail 2.2 banner, and surprisingly, Boothill's Drip Marketing has been released. This comes as a bit of a twist, considering most people were expecting Firefly or Sam to join Robin for version 2.2.

According to both leaks and official announcements, two new 5-star characters, Boothill and Robin, are set to join the Honkai Star Rail 2.2 banner, slated for an early May 2024 launch. Thus, we'll dive into the details surrounding HSR Boothill and discuss whether Stellar Jades should be saved for his banner or not.

Who is Boothill in Honkai Star Rail?

In the lore, Boothill is depicted as an exceedingly optimistic and unrestrained cowboy traversing the cosmos. He is also noted to be a member of the Galaxy Rangers, a group dedicated to punishing horrible actions by any means necessary.

Additionally, according to official sources, Boothill is confirmed as a 5-star Physical character on the Path of The Hunt. At present, Sushang is the only character that shares both Boothill's element and Path, but she’s a four-star unit. Boothill’s abilities suggest that he has the ability to be a very strong Physical damage dealer and his gameplay revolves around a unique "Duel" mechanic that is triggered by his Skill ability.
