However, now fans are excited about the next Genshin 4.7 update which is rumored to introduce three new characters to the game – Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. And, one of the most hyped amongst them is Genshin Clorinde.
Though details about Clorinde are scarce, a few leaks have surfaced regarding her abilities, release date, weapon of choice, and more.

Clorinde stands out as a high-ranking guard in Fontaine’s law enforcement, even earning the esteemed position of Furina’s personal bodyguard. Fans have already praised Clorinde since her initial appearance alongside Neuvillette. Described as tenacious and resolute as the buttons on her blouse, Clorinde is renowned as a champion duelist.
Clorinde is believed to be a 5-star Electro element playable character. It is anticipated that she will have the Ousia arkhe alignment and use a sword as her signature weapon.

Insider information from the Genshin Impact community provides a sneak peek into Clorinde's abilities, with her trusty pistol playing an important role in her gameplay. Here's a quick rundown of what's been leaked:
- She is a 5-star Electro character with a concentration on overload reactions.
- She is one of the strongest duelists in the area.
- Clorinde is a main DPS using Sword.
- She might use reactions relating to electricity, including Overload or Electro Charged.
- She will use her elemental skill to wield a gun.
- Her kit also includes a follow-up strike that may be used to stab opponents; it must be dodged or activated with an elemental skill.
- C2 will give her an iframe, and C1 will sharpen her stabs.
The Elemental Skill that Clorinde has will enable players to transition into her battle form. Clorinde will carry a gun in one hand and a sword in the other. Clorinde is predicted to be a character with a lot of damage potential and will come equipped with invincibility frames, just like Keqing.

Fresh data from well-known leakers, hxg_diluc and fullstopchan, suggests that Clorinde might make her debut in the Genshin Impact 4.7 update, which is slated for release on June 5, 2024.
In addition, the leakers revealed that two more characters might make their debut in version 4.7 along with Clorinde. Players can anticipate them to be released on any of the following dates, based on whether they show up in the first or second phase of the patch:
- Genshin 4.7 Banner Phase 1: June 5, 2024 - June 26, 2024
- Genshin 4.7 Banner Phase 2: June 26, 2024 - July 16, 2024
However, fans will need to wait for official confirmation closer to the release dates.
Apart from Clorinde, we will get Sigewinne and Sethos in version 4.7. Sigewinne is rumored to be a 5-star Hydro character wielding a bow, whereas Sethos is a 4-star Geo character wielding a bow. There's also talk of a new Spiral Abyss in the 4.7 release, so that's something to anticipate.
