Reworks are the new focus of Riot for League of Legends. Recently we got the Skaner Rework in the LoL 14.7 patch, and now League of Legends players will be pleased to know about the future LoL Malphite rework almost being confirmed, as it seems the devs are finally dropping some hints.

League of Legends Malphite Visual Rework

Malphite is a massive, enormous rock and this champion is well-known for his simplicity, but because of the same simplicity in both his play style and in-game look, some fans are asking if the giant rock will ever receive an update.

No, in a recent video, eagle-eyed fans spotted a new appearance for Malphite, sparking speculation that this will be the champion's long-overdue visual rework.

LoL Malphite Visual Rework in Riot Video

The release of Skarner's Visual and Gameplay Update in LoL Patch 14.7 provided players with a glimpse of the updated Brackern. Riot released a brief Skarner theme video to present the world to the new and enhanced Brackern, and in this video, players can see a much upgraded Malphite being carried by Skarner's ultimate ability. Fans, who have long demanded that the champion get a makeover, are thrilled about this Malphilte visual rework.

In the footage, though, Malphite appears to be both himself and not at the same moment. Moreover, his frame and model both appear better than usual.

Malphite looks a lot more sleeker and contemporary overall. He appears much more threatening because his rock formations are more prominent and pointed. His appearance is therefore changing significantly; for example, his body is getting slimmer, his face is becoming more monster-like, and he has more spikes.

This is undoubtedly better than how Malphite looked in his previous model.

LoL Malphite Visual Rework Release Date

Malphite has consistently topped the list of most requested reworks by the fans and Riot seems to be bringing the champion's design into line with the Wild Rift model, which has received positive reviews for its improved gameplay and enhanced graphics.

As of now, it is unknown when we will receive the updated Malphite rework. However, it is possible that Riot may provide an update later on when Malphite will receive his visual upgrades, given that this was leaked.

Although details regarding the Malphite rework are still unknown, the leaked images provide League of Legends players with an encouraging idea of what to expect in the future.

Furthermore, this isn't the first time that we have got the leaked introduction videos for new champions or champion VGUs by Riot, as Orianna and Brand were previously hinted to receive upcoming visual changes.

Thus, it is not entirely implausible to consider that Malphite may also be receiving a visual rework of some kind. However, as of now, nothing is official—Riot has not stated whether or not Malphite is being considered for a visual overhaul.
