Valorant is now in its third year of operation, having been launched in 2019. Valorant came with four maps and ten Agents in the beta edition and now due to its great success, it has nineteen Agents and seven maps by 2022. However, the game is about to get a new update - Valo Episode 6 Act 1, which will be the next Valorant episode with a new map and a skin bundle.

Pearl, the most recent map, was launched in June 2022, over 5 months ago. However, compared to previous maps, the most recent maps, such as Fracture and Breeze, were not particularly popular. Riot Games, in particular, has been chastised for the Pearl map, thus it appears that Riot is taking its time releasing the next Valorant Episode 6 map.

Yet, we are not dependent on Riot solely for new data on the game, as dataminers additionally drop unannounced information for the players. And this time the leaks have revealed lots of interesting data on the Valorant Episode 6 map - Ohio.

Valorant Episode 6 map - Name

In the previous night market, VALORANT enticed us with an underwater-themed background. It could also have been a teaser for a forthcoming map, as per ValorantLeaks, a common name in the Valorant community.

The Valorant 9th map will be known as "Jam" revealed @valorantleaksEN on Twitter. However, that was a codename and now a fresh leak from another credible leaker, @ValorantUpdated has revealed that the new Valorant Episode 6 map is coming very soon, and is called "Ohio."

The new Valorant Episode 6 leak confirms all of the indications that the new map will be based in India.

Valorant Episode 6 map - Ohio Layout

The current Agent in Episode 5 Act III of the game is set in the subcontinent, and its creators, Riot, appear to be aiming for a broad audience with it. The game's upcoming map appears to be included in that push as well.

Valorant Ep 6 map's appearance has not yet been disclosed by the developers. However, it appears that Riot Games may possibly be hinting that the next destination would be in India, much to the game's last setting in Pearl, which was said to be in Portugal.

"Jam" the codename of Valorant Map 9 might be hiding in Harbor's house, according to the clues that have so far pointed us in that direction. The codename doesn't exactly tie to the origin, although there are many cues that point to India as a possible location.

It appears that the legendary "City of Flowers" on Omega is a multiverse nexus, as revealed by Brimstone in a Patch 5.09 voicemail, given that the game's plot revolves around the Alpha and Omega Earths.

Additionally, a new range board indicates that the City of Flowers is thought to lie someplace in Southwest India.

A City of Flowers that is ostensibly at its home nation's multiverse nexus is mentioned by Harbor in his most recent radio message. The following Valorant map 9, which is located in South Western India, is also marked on a board in Valorant PBE.

The map board is unequivocal proof that the Valo Ohio map is in India. A fresh pin in South Western India can only imply one thing because the board only contains previous maps.

Viper has also claimed that the Legion is creating a new map, however, identifying it would be challenging given the First Light.

Valorant Episode 6 map - Release date

VALORANT hasn't released a new map for all of its gamers in a long time. As a result, we may receive a fresh new map sooner than anticipated.

Furthermore, Valorant's refusal to drop a new map in the Episode 5 Act 3 update and following Riot's habit of releasing maps every 2-3 Acts or so, the Valorant Ohio map, as well as other details, should certainly be revealed in the future Episode 6.

Now, assuming no delays, the possible release date for Valorant Episode 6 Act 1 is January 9, 2023, as the Episode 5 Act 3 battle pass finishes the day before, on January 8.
