Hoyoyverse has revealed eight new upcoming Honkai Star Rail characters, both 5- and 4-star, all set to make an appearance in and after version 2.0.

Scheduled for release on December 27, 2023, the 1.6 update titled "Crown of the Mundane and Divine" marks the final 1.0 update, and after that, the Astral Express and the Trailblazers are gearing up for their next adventure in Penacony.
However, the most interesting part of today’s event was the "Letter of Invitation from Penacony" guest list as HoYoverse has unveiled eight new upcoming HSR characters (both 5-star and 4-star), adding to the excitement among players.

Honkai Star Rail Sparkle
Another 5-Star character, Sparkle deals Quantum Damage and is a support unit, boosting the other top DPS heroes, since she travels the Path of The Harmony. A member of Aha the Elation's followers, the Masked Fools, Sparkle is a maestro of theater. She is recognized for having several faces and owning numerous masks. She is attempting to join the Genius Society and has an interest in entertainment.
Honkai Star Rail Robin
Robin is a character with a lighter and more refined look. Robin's outfit of deep blue and white goes well with her Cerulean hair hue. Her outfit is refined with the addition of earrings and a bracelet. Details about Robin's release version and her place in the game's narrative are unknown, despite the visual information made available by these leaks. She is a Harmony unit from the Physical element, according to leaks, though no concrete details have been disclosed.
Honkai Star Rail Aventurine
Aventurine is a Preservation Path member and a 5-star Imaginary character. Although his lore is unknown, we do know that he concentrates on using damage-sponging shields to defend his friends. Without going into too much detail, you will find that Aventurine is a great Tank unit that can provide friends shields in the form of suits that endure for several turns. He can also reuse his talent to buff himself again with greater DEF and other attributes.
Honkai Star Rail Acheron
We received a first glimpse at Penacony, the next stop on the Honkai Star Rail, and one of its forthcoming characters, "Acheron." Players noticed right away that Acheron resembles both Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact and Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact 3rd. Honkai Star Rail Misha
With the HSR 2.0 banner release comes Misha, a new 4-Star character. He takes The Destruction's Path and deals Ice Damage. He is a charming and considerate bellhop at The Reverie Hotel who aspires to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and become an intergalactic explorer—another exciting person. We now know who to ask for rumors when we arrive in Penacony since in addition to being a diligent worker and proficient machine operator, he also enjoys "sharing interstellar rumors with guests."
Honkai Star Rail Firefly
Leaks states that Firefly in Honkai Star Rail is a 4-star Fire character who follows Path of Destruction and is a member of the Stellarion Hunters. There are rumors that she is Sam's pilot, a well-known Stellarion Hunters squad. A weak little girl, she sets out on a cosmic quest across the Milky Way to discover the purpose of life. Soft hues, such as delicate blues and greens, are used in Firefly's design. Her silver hair with blue ends completes the ensemble.
Honkai Star Rail Gallagher
At last, a mystery figure named Gallagher will also make an appearance in the game at some point. It's safe to assume that Gallagher has a depressing appearance and a long history of suffering. Some of his body is scarred, which may provide information about his past. Moreover, he appears older than a lot of the male characters in Honkai: Star Rail. It is said that he is collaborating on something for Sunday, another playable character whose release date is still unclear.
