A few weeks ago, it was confirmed that Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi would make their debut in the HSR 1.6 banner, joining rerun banners that are yet to be confirmed. Version 1.6 of Honkai: Star Rail will also expand the weapon banner to include Baptism of Pure Thought and Past Self in Mirror Light Cones, offering passive abilities and stat boosts.
Though HoYoverse confirmed the presence of the 5-star units, the 4-star entities accompanying them were still unknown. Fortunately, recent leaks have shed light on the Honkai Star Rail 1.6 banner 4-star characters that will be a part of Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio's banner.

Well-known leakers in the community have uncovered the Honkai Star Rail 1.6 Banner 4-Star characters that will accompany Ruan Mei & Blade and Dr. Ratio & Kafka on their respective banners. According to a recent leak from Pulsle, Tingyun, Natasha, Hook, Sushang, and March 7th will feature in version 1.6. The HSR 1.6 banner 4-star characters are as follows:

Honkai Star Rail 1.6 Banners - 5-star Characters
Version 1.6 will be one of the biggest character lineups included in a single update if the report is accurate. As previously mentioned, the Honkai Star Rail 1.6 banner highlights Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio as the new 5-star characters, with Blade and Kafka having a rerun in the same patch. Ruan Mei, a 5-star Ice unit, takes on a support role in the Harmony Path, appearing in the first phase banner. Dr. Ratio, an Imaginary DPS character, follows The Hunt Path and will feature in the second banner phase.
Also, in version 1.6, Xueyi, a new Quantum unit, makes her debut. She is a Destruction character and a judge on the Ten-Lords Commission, who is also in charge of detaining apparent inmates.
Additionally, the HSR 1.6 banner will also include Blade and Kafka reruns. Blade is a strong debuff dealer from the Wind element who uses the Destruction Path to unleash potent single-target and AoE attacks. On the other hand, Kafka is a special Nihility character who uses the effect of Damage-over-Time, or DoT, to increase the duration of her Lightning damage.

Tingyun: A Lightning element character following the Harmony Path, known for her diplomatic skills as the Head Representative of the Whistling Flames, a merchant guild.
Natasha: A Physical element character serving as a healer with good healing abilities and the capability to cleanse debuffs from party members.
Sushang: A Physical element character on the Hunt Path, an enthusiastic newcomer to the Cloud Knights, wielding a greatsword and aspiring to become a legendary figure among them.
