If you’ve been following the famous action role-playing video game Genshin Impact and if you are connected with the game for long, then you must be aware that miHoYo occasionally introduces new characters and enemies in the game.
These characters are usually introduced as playable and to make the game interesting, enemies are introduced, where players need to defeat a series of enemies to progress through the game and complete certain quests.
Genshin Spiral Abyss is a prime example of such space comprising of different enemies spread across 12 different stories which are needed to be defeated inside a specific time limit to get stars dependent on the leftover time.
However, the early 2.6 leaks revealed that we will get new enemies and monsters in the 2.6 update which are quite difficult to tackle.

Genshin Impact 2.6 enemies
New monsters to defeat are a common feature of new version updates in the game, and Genshin Impact 2.6 is no exception. It is expected that HoYoverse will add three new enemies in Genshin Impact 2.6 update.
As per the leaked data, these 3 new Genshin 2.6 enemies are:
- Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter
- Ruin Serpent
- Floating Moldbeast
Leakers are working hard since 2.6 beta, yet we don't have any concrete gameplay leaks of these new 2.6 monsters.
However, we have detailed all the unofficial translations, brief descriptions along with various artifacts relating to these new Genshin 2.6 enemies that have been revealed so far.

Genshin Impact 2.6 Enemies - Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter
As per the leaked description on the WFP discord channel, the Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter are:
"Guard soldiers whose statuses were rather prominent in the palace. They use the sword technique named 'The Skill of Absolute Truth', eliminating enemies of the Royal Family. The 'Twilight Sword' used to be one of them as well - till all glory of the kingdom was lost, and everything has irrevocably gone."
The Shadowy Husk archetype's new type, Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter, has also been leaked and it has been compared to the Shadowy Husks as it has an anti-shield ability like other Shadowy Husks.
We likewise have a leak on the possible Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter abilities which basically says that if this new Genshin Impact 2.6 enemy hits shielded characters, it becomes stronger and faster. This monster, apart from the next two enemies, does not drop any new items and uses Anemo as its major element.

Genshin Impact 2.6 Enemies - Ruin Serpent
As per the leaked description on the WFP discord channel, the Ruin Serpent are:
"An ancient, aberrant ruin device. Legends say that it is a heavy machinery used for engineering purposes, left behind by the destroyed nation. The gear-shaped structure of the 'head' is able to excavate the hardest layers of rock with ease. If this really was the case, borrowing its powers, the great army would have been able to traverse the continent easily via various hidden underground paths."
The Ruin Serpent in Genshin 2.6 is a Normal Boss, and the 2.5 Livestream has already revealed a few things about it, including its rewards. It will drop Prithiva Topaz Ascension Materials as well as a new item called "Runic Fang".
As per leaks, it seems like players will have to complete a World Quest known as "Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering" to encounter this new Ruin Serpent monster.
Unfortunately, no information about the gameplay of the Ruin Serpent or Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering quest was disclosed in the recent Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks.
Surprisingly, no characters will be able to use the Ruin Serpent's drops if it debuts in Genshin Impact 2.6 as no character currently uses the item for its Ascensions.
We likewise have a leak on the possible Ruin Serpent abilities which basically says it will generate a "silt gully" during the battle, and in some states, it will try to suck energy from it to launch strong destructive attacks.
Using the "lumenstone catalyst's" light bloom to destroy the silt gully that supplied energy to the ruins serpent can break this state and disable the energy core spread throughout the body. The ruin serpent will get weakened if all four energy cores are disabled.

Genshin Impact 2.6 Enemies - Floating Moldbeast
As per the leaked description on the WFP discord channel, the Floating Moldbeast are:
"A spore-like creature that possesses a certain level of intelligence. It is highly adaptable to the environment. It supposedly tastes horrendous. But since this fungal beast is rich in water, it can be used as an emergency water source..."
The Floating Moldbeast hasn't been disclosed much yet, but the recent Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks luckily highlight its unusual drops. They are as follows:
- Moldbeast's Spore
- Luminescent Pollen
- Crystalline Cyst Dust
Given its design and description, which states "...this fungal beast is rich in water," this monster is most likely a Hydro-based opponent. However, no formal confirmation of this enemy's attacks has been revealed till now.
